Composite Photo

Anyone who's been in a session with me probably notices that I snap a lot of photos in a short amount of "say cheese" time.  You probably wonder why I do that.  The answer is so that I can composite a final perfect photo (everyone looking and smiling).  Let's face it, as fun as casual candid photos are, we all want those we can hang over the mantel or give to grandparents.  For those who don't know what a composite is, it's creating one photo out of two or more.  So I am constantly piecing families together;), perfecting this has come with a lot of practice and time.  I thought it would be fun to show one cute small example from a session I'm in the process of editing:

J Family Portraits

This beautiful family is especially dear to me.  The mom is my best friend since childhood and I loved having the opportunity to do their portraits!  They are expecting their second little one coming this December and we are so happy for them!  Congrats you guys, love you!

(ps- to get a great look at these photos click on them and scroll through, they load much better that way!;)
